The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor™
is a revolutionary total combustion system, made in Burlington-Massachusetts, designed to convert solid fuels (wood, coal, Futurex, cokes,
charcoal, paper, combustible waste, etc.) into useful heating energy
while guaranteeing maximum efficiency, comfort and safety.

The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor™ is basically a freestanding
stove or fire place insert which generates cosy radiant and convection
heat. Most of the valuable energy is recovered via the internal
heat recovery system that allows water to be circulated to a central
heating system. The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor™ can work stand-alone
or in combination with an existing central heating system or warm
water boiler.
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor™ uses an thermostatic firing control or aquastat to adjust combustion
air supply in relation to the desired, pre-set, water outlet temperature,
and as such automatically adapts to the type of fuel being used
and the varying heat consumption of your home's central heating
system.
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor's combustion is the result of intensive
research that has led to an almost ideal combustion with an optimum
fuel-to-air ratio. The primary and secondary air is controlled separately
and continuously adjusted in relation to the amount of fuel being
burnt. The specially designed grate remains relatively cold at all
times and is able to withstand virtually all types of fuel thanks
to its intense cooling. As such, it ensures a slower combustion
reaction with unique thermal characteristics. All this results in
a total and environmentally friendly combustion.
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor's special combustion technique results
in extremely high temperatures, what allows for extremely high heat
recovery rate. By providing a very large heat-exchanging surface
(approx. 3 m2) at the hottest areas (base and peaks of the flames)
it becomes possible to judiciously recover the enormous amount of
heat being generated by the fire by means of the internal heat recovering
system. The heat recovery system is equipped with a barometric draft
regulator that allows on-site adjustment of the Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor
to the natural chimney draft.

The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor's patented adjustable heat recovery
system ensures that almost none of the valuable energy escapes.
The result is an extremely economical heating appliance that achieves
an hitherto unknown efficiency of up to 94%.
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor™ has in fact such a high heat
output that it can be used to heat your entire home as well as provide
you with plenty of hot water (41.000 BTU to 199.000 BTU, what is
equivalent with 12 to 70 kW).
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor™ can easily operate in continuous
mode.
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor™ is protected by a thermal protection
valve and an automatic cold water supply system that protects the
heating appliance in case of power failure, faulty circulator, improper
use, etc… .
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor™ is also equipped with an overpressure
protection safety valve, although the solid construction of the
recovery element enables it to withstand extreme pressure loads,
so that maximum safety is guaranteed at all times.
In the event of a too high water temperature, the air supply will
be automatically shut off to calm down the fire by means of the
aquastat mechanism.
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor's control system and the protection
system remain active at all times; during a power failure and even
in case of improper use or when the control systems and/or the protection
systems are disabled.
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor's scientifically based design and the
use of superior materials guarantee a product of exceptional quality,
what is also easy in maintenance and easy to service. All versions
of the Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor feature a removable heat recovery
system.
The Hydro-to-Heat-Convertor™ has a long life cycle and comes
with a manufacturer's 10 year warranty.
